Joining the Faculty at VCFA, MFA in Writing Program

I am glad to announce my return to my alma mater Vermont College of Fine Arts, as Faculty of the MFA in Writing Low Residency Program.

It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to give back to an institution that has given me so much support. Many thanks to Connie May Fowler, Abby Frucht, Ellen Lesser, and the other members of the Faculty Advisory Committee. I am grateful to VCFA’s MFA in Writing and Publishing Program for friends and mentors. Thank you, Miciah Bay Gault, for taking notice of me in my little corner in Southwest Nigeria. I give thanks to Julianna Baggott, Trinie Dalton, Rita Banerjee, Erin Stalcup, Thomas Christopher Green, Tavia Gilbert, Paul Acciavatti, Lennie Decerce, Desmond Peeples. Cammie Finch, Lindsay Gacad, Lindsey Brownson, to mention a few. Whenever self-doubt creeps in, I remember your counsel and kind words. Y’all have made me better in many ways. Thank you. Thank you.
